A Solid Victory

Earlier this week I was informed by my wife that we would be recieving 2 car seats as a gift. Upon recieving them yesterday we opened them and I discovered a stunning victory in the war against pink. Not only were they not pink, YAY!!!!!, but they were blue. They could have been no better color.

Happy Father's Day

This year is my first ever Father's Day. Yesterday I got a free milkshake at Chik-fil-A which made me quite estatic. Then wifey went out and got me 3 polo shirts from her and the twins. And they weren't even pink. Or a tie. WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have taught them well in resisting pink. Now to edumacate everyone else. :)

A Sneaky Aunt

My wife calls me today to let me know that my darling aunt sent us a package. Upon returning home, I discovered and was shocked to see that she is furthering the pinkification of the house as referenced in the below photos.

I was delighted though to find that there were some non-pink outfits in there.

The Tea Set

The tea set we made in Helen arrived recently. It is the first tea set for the girls and there is no noticeable pink on it, a stellar victory, though it came at a cost. Deciding to compromise with my wife, I hid the pink underneath the saucer's. Who looks under there frequently anyways?

Maybe as a compromise I can teach them to use these? :-)

A not so subtle attack

I have foiled my wife's plans to viciously assault this blog. She had wanted to make it PINK!!!!! Therefore, I am glad she could not log into my account. Apparently I missed her true motivation when picking out curtain's though. She held up the fabric so it appeared a light, airy pink. When in fact it was solid pink, nothing light and airy about it. I must be careful and more vigilent to guard against future assaults.

My wife insisted that I put at least one picture up, so I will add a picture of the heinous artwork she wanted to put on my blog.

Maybe I can buy them some Blue fishing poles.

The battle continues

Well, the battle is continuing albeit a bit slowly lately. Sadly, today I was confronted with a choice that on the outside appeared innocent while it was really a covert attempt by the women to pinkify the house. The story goes as follows:

I was innocently asked by my wife if she could sew some birds and hang them from the ceiling in the nursery. Not realizing the sinister nature of her request I said yes. Since I am a bird watcher by nature. It was only later that I discovered the true nature of her request, the birds would be pink. GASP!!!!!!!! Imagine my shock and horror, I had been duped. Alas, I shall have to come up with plans to repel this pinkification before it spreads to far. Maybe I should buy some spray paint to paint the birds different colors.

Here is a picture of these seemingly innocent birds. What bird is this small and all pink anyways? Even MINE has pink on it. :(

The Nursery

So, I gazed fondly in the nursery and it was an amicable green with natural wood furniture. I can live with that, at least the pink is staying away.

Oh no, somehow something pink has invaded the room. How did it sneak in there? I will need to do something to remove this pinkification.
